REGISTRATION

There are two ways to register for a CAROLINA XC event: online pre-registration and onsite post-registration.

If you don’t have time to sign-up in advance, you can register at the event. Here are the steps you will have to follow once you are at the event:

- All minors under 18 years of age must have a parent with them.
- A Minor Release must be completed by the parent and the minor rider (completed at sign-up).

- If you have a minor rider (under 18 years of age), make sure to get an AMA Annual Release card. Simply download the form, have your signatures notarized, and forward it to the AMA or bring it to the CAROLINA XC Rider Registration. It’s not a requirement, but if you have an Annual Release card, your kid does not have to attend Rider Registration. Just think, you get to stand in line all by yourself! The releases must be notarized and can be submitted to the AMA Representative at Rider Registration, which will give you a temporary 30-day release card while your card is being processed.

Pre-entered riders without valid AMA Membership proceed to Step 2.

Pre-entered riders without a Transponder proceed to Step 3.

Pre-entered riders with both valid AMA Membership and Transponder proceed to Step 5.

AMA Membership is required to race CAROLINA XC.

If your AMA Membership is current, proceed to Step 3.

Pre-Entered riders proceed to Step 5.

Transponders are required for all competitors.

Transponders are available for purchase ($20) with cash or a credit card.

Once you receive your transponder, proceed to Step 4.

Pre-entered riders proceed to Step 5.

Here you will:

- Sign the release
- Receive your race number assignment
- Check your transponder (done at each round)
- Receive your helmet stickers
- Pay for your class

Here you will:

- Sign the release
- Turn in a Minor Release, if applicable
- Receive your race number assignment
- Check your transponder (done at each round)
